Pass on Fees
Within the Payment Options of trip details, you can select the option Ask Donor to Pay Processing Fee?
Once you have selected the option
- Enter the percentage amount.
- Enter the text that you would like Donors to see when they make donations.
This option is not available to tenants using Pushpay as their payment provider, as that is managed through Pushpay.
What the Donor Sees
When donors donate to a trip where the processing fee has been enabled, they will see the option of whether or not to include the processing fee.
The Total Payment amount will be distributed towards the trip.
Similarly, when a donor donates to a participant on a trip, they will also see the option of whether or not to include the processing fee.
The Total Payment amount will be distributed towards the participant.
