How do I create profile questions? Follow
Create your own questions for team members to complete on their profiles.
Gather information from team members that will stay with them from trip to trip such as their testimony, or things like allergy information and dietary restrictions.
Team members' profile answers will also appear on submitted trip applications to give you a more comprehensive snapshot of the applicant in addition to their application responses.
There are several formats to choose from, making it easier for your team members to answer.
Follow the steps below to create new profile questions.
Access the Manage Profile Questions Interface
From the Admin tab, select Manage Profile Questions.
The Manage Profile Questions interface will display.
Create a New Question
Here you'll see a list of all of your active and inactive profile questions.
To create a new profile question, select Create Profile Question from the top right.
Choose a Question Type
There are five formatting options to choose from:
- short answer
- paragraph
- date
- single-choice
- multi-choice
Select the format that best meets the needs for the information you're trying to collect while making the most sense to your team members trying to provide an answer.
Short Answer
Add your question copy to the field, and select a status (active or inactive).
Active profile questions will appear on team members' profiles.
When ready, click the Create Profile Question button.
The new question will appear on the Manage Profile Questions list.
Paragraph
Add your question copy to the field, and select a status (active or inactive).
Active profile questions will appear on team members' profiles.
When ready, click the Create Profile Question button.
The new question will appear on the Manage Profile Questions list.
Date
Add your question copy to the field, and select a status (active or inactive).
Active profile questions will appear on team members' profiles.
When ready, click the Create Profile Question button.
The new question will appear on the Manage Profile Questions list.
Single-Choice
Add your question copy to the field.
This format will allow team members to select a single answer from the list you provide.
Enter in the Answer Choices for team members to choose from; click the Add Answer button to generate a new answer field.
Select a status (active or inactive) for each answer choice. Active answer choices will appear on team members' profiles for this question.
Select a status (active or inactive) for the question. Active profile questions will appear on team members' profiles.
Reorder your answer choices by clicking the dots to the left of the answer and dragging it up or down the list.
When ready, click the Create Profile Question button.
The new question will appear on the Manage Profile Questions list.
Multi-Choice
Add your question copy to the field.
This format will allow team members to select multiple answers from the list you provide.
Enter in the Answer Choices for team members to choose from; click the Add Answer button to generate a new answer field.
Select a status (active or inactive) for each answer choice.
Active answer choices will appear on team members' profiles for this question.
Select a status (active or inactive) for the question.
Active profile questions will appear on team members' profiles.
Reorder your answer choices by clicking the dots to the left of the answer and dragging it up or down the list.
When ready, click the Create Profile Question button.
The new question will appear on the Manage Profile Questions list.
Editing Your Profile Questions
You may reorder your profile questions by clicking and dragging the dot icons to the left of each question.
This will update the order in which they appear on team members' profiles.
To edit a question, simply select it from the list, make your changes, and save.
You will not be able to delete a question a team member has answered, but you may mark it as inactive if you wish to remove it from your profiles.
