Applying for a trip is easy! Just find the trip you want to participate in, fill out the application, and look forward to approval by your trip leader!
Follow the steps below to get you on your way:
Find Your Trip
From the Trips Listing page, find a trip that speaks to you. On the listing page, you may search for trips by dates and keywords or ministries, depending on how your church or organization has set up their categories.
When you see something you like, click the Learn More button on the trip to view its trip page.
Toggle between the Grid and List views, and filter the results by Categories created by your Mission Ministry.
Access the Application
From the Trip Page, you can see more about the goals of the trip, the people you'll be serving, and the travel and cost details.
To access the trip's application, click the Apply Today button.
Choose to Register Yourself Only, or a Group
Focus Missions now allows for family and group registration for trips as well as individual registration.
- Click Just Me if you're only needing to sign yourself up for the trip
- Click Friends and Family if you're wanting to sign yourself up as well as other members in a group you'll be able to oversee
- Click Nevermind, Go Back to return to the trip listings page and continue searching for a trip
Next, you'll be directed to the Focus Missions Login Screen. If you have an existing account, enter your Email Address and Password here.
Sign In or Sign Up
If you're not already signed in, you'll be prompted to either log in with your existing credentials, or to sign up for an account.
Enter your Mission account's email address and password, or quickly create a new account by completing the form provided and verifying your email address.
Complete Your Application (Individual)
Once you're signed in, you'll be prompted to complete the application and complete your profile questions (or confirm the profile information stored in your account for returning participants) .
Complete the application questions for the trip.
Fields that display an asterisk after the title are required. These must be answered in order to submit your application.
For long applications, we will autosave your responses as you go, so if you need to step away you won't lose your work!
When you're ready, click the Save Questions button.
Once all of the required questions have been answered, you'll be prompted to move to the next step.
Add Participants and Complete Applications (Groups)
If you chose to add family members or others to the trip along with yourself as a group, you'll be prompted to add them next. Complete the form for each additional participant to add them to your group until you have everyone entered. Click Yep, that's everybody to move forward to the application process.
Applications for Groups
For the group's applications to be submitted, all applicants' questions must be completed. Select Resolve next to any applicant listed with unanswered questions to fulfill the application requirement for each participant.
You'll have the option to then either answer their application questions on their behalf, or you may elect to email them directly to the participant if they were added to the registration with an email address.
Once all participants' application questions have been completed, you'll have the option to select Continue to move forward to the deposit payment screen.
*All Family/Group enabled trips will require a deposit to be paid at the time the applications are submitted.
Submitting Your Deposit Payment and Trip Applications
The application fee for all of the participants you're registering must be paid before the application process can be completed. You may choose to pay your own application fee at this time if it is not required.
Complete the payment form and click Submit Application to submit your group's application fees and their applications all at once!
Application Submission Confirmation
When you've successfully submitted your application, you'll see a confirmation screen. The trip leaders will now be responsible for reviewing your application (along with all other applicants').
You'll be notified via email once your application has been approved, or if it has been rejected for any reason.
